Burton's Compared to Carrol's
While watching Burton's movie, I couldn't help but notice that there was a huge difference in the way that I saw Wonderland while reading it compared to what it was like in the movie. When I read Alice in Wonderland, I feel like it is a somewhat happy place where it is always nice out. Burton's portrayed it as being dreary and dull. The movie also made me get a better picture of what a few of the characters actually looked like. Burton did a great job at portraying the characters at the Tea Party. I guess if there was something that the movie added, it would be helping me see what the characters were really like.

Capterpillars Perspective of Alice
I figured for this blog I would write about how the caterpillar felt when he met Alice. The way I see it, the caterpillar couldn't figure out why Alice never asked to take a hit from his hookah. He also couldn't understand what Alice meant when she said that she didn't really know who she was. And then there was also the part where he is really impatient with Alice, but I believe that is because she is a child and he feels like he is wasting his time talking to her.

Favorite Book
Well, I'm not much of a reader, but when i was in American Literature in High School, I really liked the book To Kill a Mocking Bird. I know it's kind of gay but it was probably the best one that I had read in a long time. The reason I liked it was because it actually had some real life events throughout it. I probably read this my Junior year of high school if i'm not mistaken.
